Job Summary

Job Title: Cafe Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Cafe Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates and overseeing the daily operations of our cafe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Develop a Team: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
  • Training and Scheduling: Provide training and create work schedules to ensure that associates are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure that the unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
  • Mentorship and Development: May act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
