The Family Health Specialist role at El Centro Family Health offers a unique blend of clinical expertise and community engagement.
\We seek an experienced Medical Care Provider who can provide general medical care, conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, and order and interpret tests.
\Responsibilities include:
\- \
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients.\
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.\
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality standards.\
- Staying current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements through ongoing education and training.\
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs.\
Requirements:
\- \
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field, with a focus on family nurse practitioner or physician's assistant studies.\
- Certification as a family nurse practitioner or physician's assistant from the New Mexico Board of Nursing or Medical Examiners.\
- Licensure to practice medicine in New Mexico.\
- National certification as a family nurse practitioner or physician's assistant.\
- Current CPR and BLS certifications.\
- Desirable: Post-training experience in the medical professional field, preferably in primary health care.\
