El Centro Family Health is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community. We are seeking an experienced Physician to join our team.

Job Summary

The Physician will be responsible for providing general medical care in the educative, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative areas to patients of El Centro Family Health. This includes conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illness, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventive health care, and writing prescriptions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics, with Board certification or a minimum of five years of experience. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care services to patients, including physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies
  • Counsel patients on preventive health care, including nutrition, exercise, and disease management
  • Write prescriptions for medications and treatments as necessary
Requirements

To be considered for this position, the candidate must have:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine
  • Board certification in family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics, or a minimum of five years of experience
  • Licensure to practice medicine in New Mexico
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)/ ACLS certification
  • Current Immunization Records
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off, we also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
