We're seeking a highly skilled Mission Architecture Expert to join our team at Stoke Inc, a leading aerospace startup.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a fast-paced development program, leveraging your expertise in systems engineering to deliver a successful project.

You'll be responsible for defining the system architecture, developing the concept of operations, and driving the integration of multidisciplinary subsystems. Your strong knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals and practical experience in aerospace or similar high-performance products will be critical in achieving success.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in aerospace engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate with others. If you're passionate about space exploration and want to be part of a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing conceptual system architecture, concept of operations (ConOps), and functional capabilities which meet customer objectives.
  • Defining system requirements to meet functional capabilities and ConOps, define product breakdown, and decompose requirements to lower-level products.
  • Negotiating interfaces between stakeholders and ensuring interfaces are documented and kept up to date.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, and ability to apply that knowledge in practical ways to a fast-paced development program.
  • Demonstrated experience working on one or more development projects through the full lifecycle, from concept through operations, on an aerospace or similar high-performance product.
  • Proficiency performing mission analyses including those related to trajectory, thermal environment, communications, and guidance, navigation, and control.
