Position Overview:

The role requires flexibility, including occasional Saturday hours based on seasonal demands and business needs. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Reporting Structure:
The Sales Support Manager reports directly to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities:


In this role, you will:
• Support branch operations by mastering consumer finance functions and achieving individual sales and delinquency targets.
• Assist in sales and collections efforts by providing respectful and efficient customer service.
• Prepare for increased responsibilities as you advance in your career with Mariner Finance.

Essential Duties:


• Deliver outstanding customer service by proactively addressing issues and offering tailored loan solutions.
• Process credit loan applications and analyze financial information for current and prospective clients.
• Reach out to customers with overdue balances to propose solutions and resolve delinquency.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual and branch sales goals related to company products and services.
• Learn and adhere to Federal, State, and Local Consumer laws to ensure compliance.
• Manage a cash drawer, including processing payments and handling daily deposits.
• Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed to maintain high-quality customer service.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service or sales role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software, with the ability to learn financial services applications.
• Ability to perform essential functions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and interpersonal skills in challenging situations.
• Must obtain any required licenses to sell insurance products offered by the branch.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in cash handling, sales, or collections.
• Some college coursework is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:


• The role requires frequent sitting for extended periods, reaching with hands and arms, and operating computer and phone systems.
• Occasional movement within the office is necessary, and the employee must be physically present at the office.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to twenty pounds may be required.
