Job Summary

Evaluates and treats patients, communicating effectively with patients, clients, and team members. Maintains accurate documentation of services in the medical record. Conducts training sessions for patients, clients, and team members on restorative techniques as needed. Completes all duties in accordance with established medical practices, governmental requirements, and company policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respects and upholds all residents' personal and property rights during duties, including knocking before entering a resident's room.
  • Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Supervises therapy assistants and students in direct patient care to carry out plans of care and patient-related activities per state practice act and reimbursement regulations.
  • Exhibits a positive attitude and collaborative team building approach with all patients, clients, and team members.
  • Consistently attends work and provides appropriate notice for scheduled paid time off.
  • Maintains productivity standards as determined by supervisor and clinical needs.
  • Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
  • Evaluates patients based on physician referral/orders.
  • Develops effective treatment plans with functional, goal-based outcomes and ensures approval/orders for services from referring physicians.
  • Treats patients according to treatment plans.
  • Records clinical documentation according to accepted regulatory and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

  • A valid state license or eligibility to obtain a license in the state where services are provided.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.

  • The ability to represent Rialto Healthcare ethically and professionally, maintaining accountability.
  • The ability to interact tactfully, effectively, and professionally with employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public as needed.
  • The capacity to relate to and work with physically and/or mentally ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility, treating them with respect and consideration regardless of their cognitive or functional level.

Compensation

$55.00/hour * Salary range may vary based on experience, education, qualifications, etc.
