Autism Training Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Autism Training Specialist to join our team at K&L C.A.R.E., Inc. In this rewarding role, you will work one-on-one with clients aged 5 to adulthood, assisting them in mastering independent living skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sessions with clients to help them acquire new skills, such as vacuuming, riding public transportation, or opening a checking account.
  • Collect data to track progress on goal acquisition.
  • Communicate effectively with case supervisors and the administrative team via email and phone calls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, counseling, nursing, social work, applied behavior analysis, behavioral medicine, speech and language, rehabilitation, marriage and family therapy, or a comparable degree in a human services field.
  • Driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is up to $36 per hour, depending on education and experience. Additional benefits include paid mileage, paid drive time, health insurance, 401(k), and referral program opportunities.
