Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular assessments of airport assets, including the Airport Operations Area and terminals.
  • Collaborate with various departments to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards.
  • Engage in a 24/7 operational environment, which includes working during weekends, holidays, and potential overtime hours.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in aviation management or a related discipline is preferred. Alternatively, candidates may possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, accompanied by three (3) years of experience in civil or military airport operations, ensuring adherence to Part 139 regulations.
  • AAA Airport Certified Employee (ACE) Airfield Operations certification.
  • Or, a High School Diploma or equivalent with four (4) years of relevant experience in roles such as Pilot, Air Traffic Control, or Airfield Operations. Completion of the AAAE Airport Certified Employee (ACE) Airfield Operations Program may substitute for one (1) year of required experience.

Supervisory Role: This position is classified as an individual contributor, with no supervisory responsibilities.

Special Requirements: Candidates must successfully complete the WCAA Airport Operations Specialist Certification within the probationary period or hold current certification. Annual recertification is mandatory.
