PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the timely execution of purchase orders
  • Ensure prompt delivery of ordered materials to support production needs
  • Identify and secure suppliers for materials and services, including logistics, that adhere to quality, pricing, and delivery standards
  • Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with suppliers
  • Process tax exemption and credit documentation for vendors
  • Maintain comprehensive supplier insurance records
  • Assist in the preparation of annual bidding documents
  • Resolve account discrepancies and ensure accurate bill payments
  • Manage outbound shipments, including the preparation of shipping documentation within the ERP system
  • Package products for shipment and coordinate transportation services
  • Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and critical supplies
  • Notify and/or deliver incoming products to end users
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment in designated areas
  • Adhere to all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Follow all Quality Assurance policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior experience in a purchasing or shipping role within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP Systems, with a preference for Oracle-related experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Work in a warehouse setting with significant temperature variations
  • Availability for shift work or overtime as necessary
  • Ability to stand for 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Capability to walk for 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Frequent bending and stooping for 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Repetitive movements for 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Regular lifting of weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Push and pull activities for 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Minimal travel, less than 10%
