Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant at Insight, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Under the supervision of the acting physician, you will work in conjunction with staff and physicians to support the delivery of patient care that exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take vital signs and assist the provider with patient interviews and care processes
  • Deliver and transport patients as directed by the physician
  • Perform administrative tasks, including answering phones, obtaining prior insurance authorizations, and entering information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Maintain patient and hospital confidentiality at all times
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred; experience as a Medical Assistant or CNA desired
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and demonstrate enthusiasm and drive
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
