Kable Staffing is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist Roll Grinder to join our team in Fairfield, OH. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to precision-cut metal and plastic parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine specifications and tolerances.
- Select appropriate tools and materials for each job based on specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on manual machining equipment, including cleaning and lubricating.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision instruments to ensure quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent, followed by vocational training in machining.
- Trade school certificate preferred.
- 2 years of machinist experience or machinist certificate preferred.
- Ability to work in a standing position and lift 50 pounds.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read measuring instruments.
