Overview

Mercyhealth, a leading healthcare organization in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our General/Trauma Surgery team at our state-of-the-art Level 1 Trauma Center in Rockford, IL.

Opportunity

As a Nurse Practitioner on our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams, including Emergency Medicine physicians, Trauma physicians, General Surgeons, and Hospitalists. You will also have the full support of an excellent team of RNs and support staff.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
  • Conducting hospital rounds and clinic visits
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Providing education and support to patients and families
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited NP program
  • Current IL RN and APRN License
  • Current DEA number
  • ATLS certification
  • RNFA certification, or ability to obtain it within the required timeframe
