Job Description

The successful candidate will manage a hybrid network environment, ensuring high availability, security, and seamless connectivity across both physical and cloud infrastructures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the management and maintenance of on-premise enterprise networking infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing cloud networking solutions to support hybrid infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Ensuring seamless integration between on-premise and cloud network environments, maintaining connectivity, security, and scalability.
  • Developing and implementing network architecture strategies that meet operational requirements of USSOUTHCOM, aligning with DoD standards and best practices.
  • Implementing and maintaining network security measures, including firewalls, access control policies, and monitoring tools, ensuring robust defense against network-based threats.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in network administration, with demonstrated expertise in both on-premise enterprise networking and cloud networking.
  • Current Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II/III certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification.
