Job Summary: The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations and common areas to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in guest rooms and public spaces, utilizing ladders or stools for hard-to-reach areas to uphold a pristine environment.
  2. Ensures restrooms are hygienic by washing shower walls, tubs, toilets, and mirrors, and wiping down exposed pipes and sinks.
  3. Restocks towels, soaps, and other room amenities, as well as replenishing any literature that has been removed or damaged, to guarantee a complete supply for incoming guests.
  4. Dusts and polishes all furniture and fixtures, including using appropriate tools to reach vents and corners to eliminate dust and cobwebs.
  5. Strips beds of used linens and remakes them with fresh linens, checking for cleanliness of bedspreads, blankets, and pads, replacing as necessary.
  6. Operates vacuum cleaners to clean rooms, hallways, and public areas, which may involve moving heavy furniture to ensure thorough cleaning.
  7. Conducts inspections of room equipment (TVs, lamps, faucets, radios) to confirm functionality and promptly reports any maintenance issues to the Executive Housekeeper or Manager on Duty.
  8. Safeguards and maintains custody of equipment, keys, and supplies to protect hotel property.

Availability: Must be open to working weekends.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Up to $13.00 per hour
