Position Summary

The Wellness Coordinator plays a vital role within the Employee Housing team, executing wellness initiatives aligned with the Wellness Manager and Supervisor. The mission is to enhance the living experience for employees and residents, creating a supportive and inclusive community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support wellness strategies tailored for employee housing.
  • Deliver standardized wellness programs based on the Eight Dimensions of Wellness and company values.
  • Enhance resident experiences through community-building activities.
  • Organize, facilitate, and assess social, recreational, and educational events.
  • Assist residents in navigating transitions and provide resources for mental and physical wellness.
  • Mediate conflicts to foster a respectful living environment.
  • Manage resident requests efficiently through the designated platform.
  • Track and manage resident support cases related to conflicts and wellness resources.
  • Communicate community safety protocols and support emergency response initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other housing teams as needed.
  • Contribute to the monthly newsletter as requested.
  • Engage with residents to build relationships and maintain an interaction log.
  • Work with internal and external partners to address employee concerns.
  • Assist in developing partnerships with community resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations is preferred.
  • Skills in mediation and conflict resolution are advantageous.
  • Experience in mental health support is beneficial.
  • Event planning and execution experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
