Tesoro Group is seeking a skilled Building Services Engineer for a mobile position with a long-standing client. This role is structured as a contract-to-hire opportunity, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will start each day at the corporate office and will be dispatched to various properties during the training phase.
Ideal Candidate Profile: We are looking for an individual with a minimum of one year of experience in commercial maintenance. The candidate should be self-motivated and proactive.
Compensation: The hourly wage ranges from $20 to $23, depending on qualifications, with mileage reimbursement included. A company vehicle will be provided following the training and probationary period, with potential for higher pay for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting quality assessments on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Addressing security and safety concerns promptly.
- Evaluating and recommending new maintenance products.
- Coordinating deliveries from suppliers and vendors.
- Maintaining records of inspections and issues.
- Performing landscaping, pool upkeep, and pest management.
- Managing inventory of cleaning and repair materials.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in the areas listed above.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as this role involves traveling to different job sites.
- Ability to pass a background check, including a motor vehicle report (no major violations in the last seven years).
- Ownership of a basic tool kit is required.
