We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate/Cashier to join our team at Global Partners LP. Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate a cash register, handling cash, lottery tickets, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain the store, including windows, floors, bathrooms, and trash containers.
- Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise, ensuring that products are facing forward and at eye level.
- Sweep and mop floors, and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Conduct gasoline tank inventory, checking readings and reporting any discrepancies.
- Check product in as it is delivered from vendors, ensuring that all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Perform yard maintenance, including sweeping, shoveling, and painting, as well as checking gas wells and performing light equipment maintenance.
- Merchandise products, including rotating stock and creating visually appealing displays.
- Wear the required store uniform, including a Global Partners LP shirt and name tag.
- Be available to work weekend, evening shifts, and holidays, as well as attend mandatory meetings.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, and frequently bend, reach, and lift 1-15 pounds.
