About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to manage administrative tasks for our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar environment, preferably as a clerk or coordinator, with strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining filing systems and documents.
  • Interact with customers and contractors to resolve shipment-related issues.
  • Process export orders, generate export labels, and maintain paperwork.
  • Manage pallets, including ordering CHEP and white wood pallets, conducting reconciliation, and researching variances.
  • Update metrics in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse/distribution environment, preferably with duties such as transportation coordination, inventory management, shipping/receiving, and coordinating with carriers, vendors, and customers.
  • The ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder.
  • Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of WMS systems is preferred, as is experience operating forklift equipment.
