Flight Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Nurse to join our team at Life Flight Network. As a Flight Nurse, you will be responsible for providing advanced critical care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the Flight Respiratory Therapist to deliver age-appropriate patient care, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Provide written and/or verbal patient follow-up to referring hospitals or agencies.
- Assist with equipment retrieval and return to appropriate agencies.
- Work with the Flight Respiratory Therapist to clean and restock equipment in a timely manner to ensure aircraft readiness.
- Participate in day-to-day operations of Life Flight Network, including compiling statistical data and working on related projects as assigned by management.
- Minimum of five years of critical care experience within the last ten years, with a minimum of three years in the NICU or PICU.
- Current licensure and/or certification as a RN, BLS, ACLS, PHTLS, PALS, NRP, and TPATC or TNCC.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including call shifts, and drive personal or company vehicles as needed.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people, one-on-one and in large groups, often in highly stressful situations.
