Family Systems Therapist

  • Participating in weekly case evaluations and planning sessions, receiving ongoing guidance from supervisors and colleagues, including group supervision.
  • Engaging in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical expertise within the MST treatment framework.
  • Delivering therapeutic interventions to families utilizing the MST model, focusing on strengths, positive behaviors, and understanding behavioral sequences.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients and their families, gathering insights on concerning behaviors and familial strengths to inform treatment strategies.
  • Actively involving primary caregivers, family members, and community support systems in the treatment process.

Position Qualifications:

  • Master's-level professional with expertise in behavioral and cognitive-behavioral therapies, as well as pragmatic family therapies (e.g., Structural and Strategic Family Therapy).
  • Preferred credentials include LPC, LCSW, or LMFT; candidates with LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate, or LMSW under supervision will be considered at a lower salary.
  • A Master's Degree in clinical psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • A valid driver's license and insurability through Tri-County are mandatory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred, with a higher salary offered for bilingual candidates.

Preferred Experience:

  • Practical application of pragmatic family therapies.
  • Experience in therapy with children and adults using cognitive-behavioral techniques.
  • Couples therapy utilizing behaviorally-based methods.
  • Implementation of interventions within the youth's natural environments (family, peers, school, and community).
  • Collaboration with community organizations.
  • Previous experience providing in-home or community-based therapeutic services.

Compensation:

LPC, LCSW, LMFT - $72,000/year

LPC-A, LMFT-A, LMSW - $62,000/year
