Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the design, modeling, and testing of various machines, structures, or systems.
- Develop and document functional requirements while adhering to standard engineering practices.
- Create simulations and prototypes to assess preliminary designs and operational efficiency.
- Design and test components, ensuring seamless integration into final products.
- Monitor product quality and process efficiency, identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis of failures to enhance product reliability and safety.
Additional Duties:
- Revise and create necessary documentation.
- Update Bills of Materials within the PLM system.
- Draft and submit Engineering Change Records for approval.
- Collaborate with R&D experts to gain insights into product history and procedural revisions.
- Disassemble and reassemble various assemblies to comprehend procedural steps.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred; an Associate's degree in a technical field is acceptable.
- Experience in technical documentation is essential.
- Familiarity with PLM systems is advantageous.
- Proven experience with change orders is required.
- Proficiency in MS Word is necessary.
- A strong mechanical aptitude is expected.
