Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering patient care under the supervision of a physician. This position is integral to the healthcare team, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care by preparing and evaluating them for their appointments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to address patient and family needs.
  • Execute the care plan by providing essential nursing services in line with the LPN scope of practice.
  • Label and package specimens accurately, following training protocols.
  • Support indirect care through various administrative tasks as assigned by the registered nurse.
  • Serve as a chaperone during patient examinations upon request.
  • Assist healthcare providers with procedures, treatments, and interventions.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or an LPN applicant.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Experience:
Preferred but not mandatory: One year of clinical patient care experience.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Demonstrated ability to provide appropriate care across all patient age groups.
  • Proficient in utilizing a computer-based patient scheduling and registration system.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
