About the Role

Dayton T. Brown, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to join our team in Hollywood, MD. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex technical projects, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, technical, and project management, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage and coordinate project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
Requirements
  • 4-year technical degree (Engineering, Computer Science) with 15+ years' experience in a technical role.
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a TS security clearance.
  • Military experience, especially Navy - a plus.
  • Exceptional project management or project controls PMP and/or PGMP certification.
  • Team player with experience building, leading, and managing a diverse team of technical experts at all levels.
  • Ability and experience in preparing comprehensive budgets, project schedules, planning, and managing project revenue and expenses, tracking earned value, and estimate to complete.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated with the desire to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills to support internal team discussions as well as client-focused meetings, discussions, including negotiation skills and technical writing.
  • Experience with government contracts regarding type and structure.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP software.
  • Availability for occasional travel, worldwide.
