Your role in maintaining our standards:

The Sanitation Specialist is essential for ensuring the cleanliness of both production and non-production areas within the facility. This role adheres to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to prevent any product contamination and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough cleaning from ceilings to floors, utilizing industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Operating forklifts and scissor lifts as part of the cleaning process.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of manufacturing equipment using chemicals and power washers.
  • Documenting sanitation activities and maintaining cleaning logs.
  • Cleaning office spaces, hallways, locker rooms, and break areas, including trash disposal and carpet vacuuming.
  • Performing outdoor maintenance as needed, including snow removal.
  • Carrying out additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • Experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial services, particularly with power-washing equipment and chemical cleaning.
  • The ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to high temperatures, noise, and allergens.
  • A willingness to undertake various tasks as required.
