Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled baker with a passion for baking and creativity to contribute to our dynamic team. As we transition into our own dedicated space, this role presents an exciting opportunity to influence our menu and production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, including but not limited to baguettes, country sourdough, and rye.
  • Craft croissants with precision and care.
  • Produce pastry components such as jams, pastry creams, and crumble toppings.
  • Participate in menu development and contribute innovative ideas.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of professional baking experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of bread and/or viennoiserie techniques.
  • Availability for early morning and weekend shifts, including 2am starts on weekends.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain high-quality standards under pressure.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid California food handler's certification and proof of Covid vaccination.
