We provide innovative solutions for Next Gen Core Services, NG9-1-1, wireless Enhanced 9‐1-1 (E9‐1-1), Text to 9‐1-1, VoIP & VoWiFi E9‐1-1 and related emerging technologies to Public Safety agencies, state, and local jurisdictions, as well as commercial Service Providers.

Compensation: $58,000 – $75,000 annually

\

The role of Project Coordinator involves assisting program managers, operations, and client management teams with the coordination of resources, tasks, and information on mission critical Public Safety Projects. This includes ensuring the successful on-time delivery of next generation 911 projects and troubleshooting initiatives with the expected quality and scope.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the integration and testing of systems & subsystems, managing and coordinating integration efforts between Public Safety IT subsystems and the NG9-1-1 system.
  • Facilitate technical discussions in integration planning and manage associated action items.
  • Coordinate with project leads and subcontractors to review all required interfaces with the NG9-1-1 system.
  • Analyze data to identify anomalies, trends, and correlated data sets.
  • Manage project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders by providing education, guidance, input, and initiatives to support project work.
  • Create project reporting dashboards to support project updates and readouts.
  • Facilitate project meetings, take and distribute minutes, and track action items and decisions with project team members.
  • Capture status on tasks, risks, issues, action items, and update plans, and project documentation.
  • Track tasks, project milestones, and take action to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Elevate project risks and issues and collaborate with the project team on solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform additional project tasks and duties as required.

Requirements:

\
  • Proven experience in task management and project status reporting.
  • Understanding of 911 call flow.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Able to prioritize and escalate when necessary.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong quality orientation with attention to detail.
  • Competency with MS Project.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Powerpoint, Sharepoint.
  • Desirable experience with collaboration-based (social) project management tools.

Qualifications:

\
  • Four-year college degree or three years of 911 systems experience.
  • Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) experience desired.
  • Two (2) years of project coordination experience on complex projects desired.
