Job Summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team in Des Plaines. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency throughout our nationwide distribution network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operations and optimization teams to identify and resolve productivity issues
  • Facilitate projects and initiatives to improve service performance and cost position of customer business activities
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement plans using data and statistical tools
  • Champion and lead improvement projects within a distribution center
  • Partner with leadership to provide training recommendations to operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of industrial engineering experience in distribution environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proficiency in SQL, data pulling, data analytics
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Ability to travel to logistics centers as needed
