About Our New Grad RN Program

Saint Vincent Hospital is committed to providing a supportive community of clinical educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents to help you transition from student to RN.

Our comprehensive 12-month program focuses on creating a solid foundation in nursing, with a focus on delegation, priority setting, and holistic patient care through interdisciplinary communication.

You will have the opportunity to experience different shifts, patient populations, and unit cultures, and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and competent patient care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct nursing care to assigned patients.
  • Supervise staff to which nursing care is appropriately delegated.
Onboarding Process

Education and Certifications
  • Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as a nurse.
  • CPR certification.
