About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures to diagnose and monitor cardiovascular conditions
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and develop treatment plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent formal training
  • 4 years of experience in cardiovascular sonography or a related field
  • RDCS or RCS registry eligibility; RVT or RVS registry eligibility; must obtain registry within one year of hire
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
