This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a high standard of front-end operations in the store. The ideal candidate will supervise and direct all front-end activities, ensuring that the work shifts contribute to the financial best interests of the store.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately process all transactions, including cash, checks, debit/credit/EBT cards, and ID requirements.
- Ensure that return-to-stock items are handled promptly and efficiently, with a focus on perishable items.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of product locations, advertised items, special prices, and coupon deals.
- Train and supervise team members to meet or exceed departmental productivity levels.
- Manage the selection, scheduling, and supervision of team members to meet or exceed departmental productivity levels.
- Handle spoiled/damaged products according to established guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
- Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines, Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations, and Guest Experience Guidelines.
- May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Accounting/Bookkeeping skills

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
