Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in a local district located near Columbus, GA. This full-time, onsite role will work directly with students and support Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering exceptional speech and language services across multiple schools within the district.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in delivering speech and language therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Support SLPs by preparing materials, setting up therapy activities, and providing direct services to students in individual and group sessions.
  • Help track student progress, collect data, and maintain accurate therapy records.
  • Provide support in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents.
  • Maintain a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment for students.
Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Active Georgia SLPA or SLP Aide license.
  • Prior experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently under supervision.
