**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician Specialist to join our team at Sand Companies Inc. in Lakeville and Southview, MN.

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance roles, strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, and be able to work independently with little supervision.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or GED and 2-5 years' experience in a maintenance role.

The successful candidate will assist with maintaining grounds and top-quality curb appeal, respond to resident work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain records as required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to resident work orders and communicate with the Property Manager status of work orders and maintenance charge-back items.
  2. Perform preventive maintenance on property systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing.
  3. Inspect HVAC and mechanical components on a regular schedule and maintain records as required.
  4. Complete repairs for unit turn and assist with maintaining grounds and top-quality curb appeal.
  5. Order supplies and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies.
  6. Perform touch-up painting and keep storage areas clean, neat, and organized.
  7. Communicate with the Property Manager and Leadership team any problems or unusual matters of significance.
  8. Respond to emergency calls after hours on a rotating schedule.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  1. Able to diagnose and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues.
  2. Knowledge of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, boilers, central air conditioners, and air handlers.
  3. Ability to work independently with little supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Prioritization and organization skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi software.
  6. Valid Class D Driver's license with a good driving record.

Salary Range:$50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
