Elwood Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant to support our team in providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities- Assist in daily clinic duties, including laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, and dental procedures.
- Provide client care by scheduling appointments, taking payments, and check-ins.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients.
- Participate in special cleaning duties and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Work collaboratively with the medical support team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Proficiency in laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental, and nursing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence and composure in stressful situations, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stay calm and efficient during medical crises.
