About the Role:

As an Admissions Counselor, you will play a vital role in promoting Grand Canyon University's academic programs and campus community to prospective students and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a phone campaign strategy that drives inquiry generation and provides exceptional counseling to prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a phone campaign strategy to build awareness of Grand Canyon University's academic programs and campus community
  • Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and their families through various mediums, including phone, email, text, and Zoom
  • Champion the Grand Canyon Education, Inc. mission by promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth
  • Travel locally and out of state to cover events, activities, and presentations as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills
  • Clear communication and engaging presentation skills
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel about 20% of the time
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
