Job Title: Content Strategist/Designer

US Tech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Content Strategist/Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating clear, compelling language for product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies, and other content across products and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and write clear, compelling language for product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies, and other content across products and experiences.
  • Partner with product designers to develop new components and patterns for our system.
  • Create or contribute to high-fidelity design mocks using Figma.
  • Work in Figma to provide Accessibility Specs for design system components and patterns.
  • Develop and maintain content design standards and guidelines for our design system.
  • Apply systems thinking to the product, whether it's defining extensible design system guidance, conducting audits of existing experiences, or creating information architecture.
  • Collaborate daily with peers across disciplines, including engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science, to take products from conception to launch.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a content designer, UX writer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma.
  • Experience working with design systems, including work on components, patterns, or foundations.
  • Experience developing content design standards and guidelines.
  • Experience with taxonomies and terminology.
  • Examples of finished wireframes or design mocks co-authored using design tools that have been used to drive decision-making within a team.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers.
