Key Responsibilities

The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and systems according to specifications, blueprints, manuals, and drawings. This is achieved using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, welding equipment, and measuring and testing instruments:

  • Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment utilizing electrical and electronic testing devices.
  • Identify unusual sounds from machines or equipment to pinpoint malfunctions and engage in discussions with supervisors or fellow maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues or repair machinery.
  • Dismantle defective machinery and equipment, installing new or repaired components as per specifications and blueprints, employing precision measuring tools and hand tools.
  • Perform cleaning and lubrication of shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery components using appropriate tools.
  • Operate cutting torches or welding equipment for metal part fabrication or assembly.
  • Adhere to company and regional policies regarding housekeeping and safety protocols.
Essential Qualifications

The position requires millwright expertise, which includes but is not limited to:

  1. Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  2. Proficient welding and fitting skills.
  3. Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
