Responsibilities- Assist with routine clinical and administrative duties, including taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and preparing equipment for medical procedures.
- Perform venipunctures, CLIA-Waived and non-CLIA Waived lab testing, and maintain accurate records.
- Stock rooms, take inventory of medical and exam room supplies, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with established personal protective equipment requirements and follow infection control protocols.
- Arrange for specialized consultations and appointments, and notify insurance personnel for pre-certification as needed.
- Answer office phones, assist with scheduling appointments, and direct calls to the appropriate staff member.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program required.
- Current credentialing (certification/registration) with a recognized medical assisting organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
