  • Foster a positive and engaging team atmosphere with an open-door communication policy.
  • Assign tasks and monitor team performance on the project, providing additional coaching and training as necessary.
  • Encourage team members by offering positive feedback and recognition for exceptional performance.
  • Address team members' concerns and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Uphold safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines and report any accidents immediately.
  • Responsible for completing the assigned project within or below the budgeted hours.
  • Adhere to safety standards as per OSHA guidelines and report any incidents without delay.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in the retail industry, particularly in merchandising, cosmetic resets, and leadership roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cosmetic brands, along with familiarity with cosmetic fixtures and graphics.
  • Capability to lead and train a team on cosmetic resets while ensuring the aisle remains accessible for shoppers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and verbal communication and customer support abilities.
  • Proficient understanding of plan-o-grams and floor plans, with the ability to cross-reference multiple documents.
  • Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, auto insurance, internet access, and basic tools.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A personal mobile device is required.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Availability for potential nights and weekends.
  • Physical demands include 95% of time spent on tasks such as stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods, as well as lifting, pulling, and pushing materials and equipment.
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs frequently and perform repetitive motions.
  • May be required to work at precarious or elevated locations; frequent climbing and descending of ladders may be necessary.
  • Daily and/or overnight travel may be required.
