Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Steward Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and intervening to stabilize patients with a variety of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Assess and manage patient pain, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal pain management.
- Delegate and supervise nursing interventions, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a timely and efficient manner.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to perform medication dosing calculations are essential for this role.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- Current nursing license in Massachusetts, with BCLS and ACLS certifications required within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC and ENPC certifications required within 1 year of hire.
