Overview: The Account Executive will concentrate on existing clients and sales to advise and market all renewal product alternatives. This role will also aid in maintaining client information and providing post-sales assistance to enhance the efficiency of the sales team. A crucial aspect of this position is to support the pursuit and finalization of sales while highlighting the value of services offered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on sales strategies and coordinate quotes and sales opportunities with the Renewal and Sales Teams;
  • Proactively evaluate, clarify, and confirm customer needs while maintaining robust customer relationships;
  • Provide renewal estimates, address objections, and modify proposals as necessary to ensure the optimal solution is presented to the client.

Primary Duties:

  • Maintain precise and timely information within the company CRM system;
  • Monitor and provide updates on all active opportunities;
  • Accurately manage pre-sales tasks and post-sales inquiries;
  • Collaborate with the Partner Sales Team to finalize business deals;
  • Proactively engage with current clients to renew their existing policies and identify opportunities for additional lines and services;
  • Establish and sustain effective working relationships with all support and sales team members;
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external clients in a professional manner;
  • Communicate with clients clearly and effectively;
  • Build and maintain networking relationships as directed by management.

Performance Metrics:

  • Achieve assigned team quotas for sales, profits, and strategic goals, including individual quotas;
  • Utilize company-required tools and programs effectively;
  • Meet strategic objectives defined by company leadership.

Qualifications:

  • An Ohio license to sell Life, Accident, and Health insurance is mandatory;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales or Sales Support;
  • Experience in cultivating and developing client relationships;
  • Proficient in web-based applications including LinkedIn, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to actively listen to management, peers, and clients to understand their points and ask relevant questions;
  • Capable of problem-solving and thinking creatively to meet company expectations;
  • Ability to complete accurate and timely submissions of all necessary paperwork and documentation related to client activities;
  • Strong prioritization skills and excellent time management abilities.

Education:

A four-year college degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
