About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Carrollwood. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical skills during diagnostic lab procedures to provide efficient, comfortable, and safe examinations for adult and gerontology patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies and procedures of the Diagnostic IR/Cath Lab and hospital administration.
  • Adhere to approved standards of aseptic technique during diagnostic lab procedures, utilizing equipment and supplies in a safe and prudent manner.
  • Facilitate implementation of physician orders accurately, promptly, and courteously.
  • Demonstrate competence and knowledge in efficiently preparing patients for diagnostic lab procedures using established aseptic technique.
  • Assist the physician and anticipate equipment needs, recognizing potential emergency/life-threatening situations and implementing preventative measures as directed by the physician.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • American Registered Radiology Technology License (ARRT) or equivalent certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical and manual dexterity, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
