As a Registered Nurse in our Neuro Trauma Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex neurological injuries. This role requires a strong foundation in critical care nursing, with a focus on assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting self-advocacy and empowerment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in neuro trauma care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- BSN degree or higher, with a focus on critical care or neuro trauma nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care or neuro trauma setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move patients, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
