Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to take on travel assignments, providing essential imaging services in various healthcare settings. This role requires a dedicated professional who can work independently and efficiently in high-pressure environments.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA only)
  • BLS: Basic Life Support (AHA only and as required)
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA only as required)
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as required)
  • TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (as required)
  • State License Verification: Primary Source Verification
  • Tech Certification Verification: National (Allied Licensure Report)
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgment: Required
  • NIH Stroke Certification: Required onsite within two weeks if not before start
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform radiological procedures in a variety of settings, including surgery and trauma cases.
  • Work 12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday.
  • Minimum of one year of experience is required.
  • Orientation sessions occur weekly on Mondays, with a compliance period of at least three weeks.
  • Manage a daily caseload that varies based on trauma days and surgical needs, typically between 90 and 120 studies from 3 PM to 12 AM.
  • Handle 24-35 studies per shift.
Unit Specific Information

This role involves working independently in surgical settings with C-Arms and portable imaging equipment. The technologist will be responsible for managing trauma cases in a busy emergency department, requiring a high level of expertise.

Additional Information
  • Government-issued photo ID is required.
  • Residency declaration form is necessary if working on a compact license.
  • Annual education review and attestation are mandatory.
  • A confidentiality agreement must be completed.
  • Facility will assign modules to HealthStream accounts for ongoing education.
