Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a community-based and resourced hospital setting
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, agencies, and other professionals to provide outstanding patient care
  • Participate in the development and growth of a community hospital-based acute care general surgery practice

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery or Osteopathic Board Certification
  • Texas Medical License
  • Fellow of the American College of Surgeons when qualified
  • ACLS and ATLS
  • Experience in acute care general surgery and community-based trauma surgery care is valuable and expected
  • Endoscopy experience is encouraged and desired
