Job Summary

The Associate Vice President for Research Compliance, Security, and Analytics is a key leadership position at Louisiana State University. This role reports to the Vice President of Research & Economic Development and is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and university policies related to research misconduct and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the LSU Associate Research Integrity Officer and the LSU Research Security Officer, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to research misconduct and integrity.
  • Provide guidance, information, and education to researchers, staff, students, and administrators on regulatory requirements related to research misconduct and security.
  • Assist in the development and operations of electronic disclosure systems to support compliance with university policies and procedures for the review and management of FCOIs.
  • Contribute to the LSU Research Experience by promoting a culture of scholarly integrity and compliance.
  • Provide leadership and oversight pertaining to research compliance with all federal, state, local, and internal policies governing university-based research activities.
  • Contribute to the analytical evaluation of research performance using various software packages.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree and 10 years of experience in research administration, integrity, or compliance.
  • Ph.D. or JD and 7 years of experience in research administration, integrity, or compliance.
