We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Bayside Solutions, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our mobile device test lab infrastructure. This includes monitoring, installing, and upgrading software and hardware, as well as overseeing and troubleshooting system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to ensure optimal uptime and performance
  • Extend monitoring tools to cover additional use cases and expand existing documentation
  • Research and diagnose failures to ensure prompt resolution

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting or similar command-line tools
  • Experience with Python or GoLang programming languages
  • Experience setting up x86 server hardware, BIOS/UEFI configuration, and other server and rack configuration tasks

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of IPMI/iDRAC/Redfish or similar out-of-band management tools
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code or similar concepts
  • Experience with configuration management systems like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Salt
  • Knowledge of macOS system administration, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of networking, including TCP or OSI layers, NAT, IPv6, VLANs, and firewalls

What We Offer:

Bayside Solutions, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $104,000 - $124,800 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
