Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute a range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and servicing guest rooms and public areas daily.
  • Restock guest room supplies, empty waste receptacles, and rearrange furnishings and accessories as needed.
  • Provide necessary linens and amenities to guests according to established guidelines.
  • Ensure guest rooms are left in a uniform arrangement as directed by housekeeping management, ensuring doors are secured and locked.
  • Document and fulfill special requests from guests.
  • Receive, unload, and check in laundry on a daily basis.
  • Transport laundry to designated areas and distribute as required.
  • Report any damages, hazards, repairs, or suspicious individuals in assigned areas.
  • Return lost items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back-of-house areas to the Housekeeping department.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public restrooms across various floors.
  • Consistently clean high-traffic public spaces, including the lobby, dining areas, elevator banks, and entrance driveways.
  • Sanitize all corridors and service areas.
  • Clean and disinfect the fitness center.
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty.
  • Notify management of any suspicious activities encountered during your shift.
  • Be knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures.
  • Deliver consistently professional, engaging, and friendly service.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards and hotel rating guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Deliver newspapers, messages, packages, amenities, or other items requested by guests or team members as needed.
  • Maintain visibility during peak periods of guest traffic.
  • Greet guests in hallways and public areas with a friendly demeanor and offer assistance.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Prior cleaning experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for caring for others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service and build a career in hospitality.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job functions.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with arms.
  • Occasionally required to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of maneuvering a fully loaded cart weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Able to work collaboratively while maintaining a positive and courteous attitude in fast-paced and noisy environments.
  • Must successfully complete the pre-employment process.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licensing.
