Job Title: Semi-Dump Truck Driver

Asphalt Specialists, Inc. is seeking a skilled Semi-Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A license and a minimum of 2 years of experience driving semi-dump trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport and dump loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, and asphalt.
  • Ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
  • Drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes in compliance with state regulations.
  • Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicle.
  • Maintain proper maintenance of truck and distribute, including tire pressure, fluid levels, etc.
  • Inspect load to make sure cargo is secure.
  • Pull lever or turn crank to tilt body and dump contents.
  • Maintain Department of Transportation compliance at all times.
  • Communicate using 2-way radios and verbal communication.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A license with good driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years semi-dump experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends.
