We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Marriott. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise a team of engineers and maintenance staff to ensure the efficient operation of all facilities and equipment.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement energy conservation and sustainability initiatives to reduce our environmental impact.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our facilities and operations remain at the forefront of innovation and excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or related field; technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.
- Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in building and construction, engineering, or related field; 2 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or related field; technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Marriott offers a competitive salary range of $77,000 to $100,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
