About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Refining Engineer to join our team at Marathon Petroleum Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our refineries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to plant operations and maintenance teams
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis and develop corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in refining or related industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of refining processes and equipment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
